Re:Build Optimation Technology, LLC is an engineering, design and fabrication firm in Rochester, New York. We work with customers across many industries to develop and deliver custom industrial skids and custom industrial machines to meet unique requirements. Who are we looking for?

We need project managers to support the engineers and tradesmen on the design teams building the unique applications we do. Projects may include process applications for food, pharmaceutical and chemical applications, or machine design projects for manufacturing. Many projects are focused on renewable energy applications. Those who join will be leading the design, fabrication, installation, and debug of cutting-edge innovative equipment.

What you will do

Represent Optimation in communications with the client

Develop rapport with clients’ organization, key people, sensitivities

Provide marketing support and support sales efforts

Communicate with clients to help define technical specifications for each project

Work with technical members of the design team to produce project definitions and estimates

Draft project proposals

Create and maintain detailed project plans and continuously track and update project timeline/ cost estimates to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget

Be willing to travel when necessary

Work well with others, has strong soft skills and be a team player

Be able to use Microsoft Projects and other project management software.

Be familiar with the use of FEL and other project management tools

What you should bring to the team

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent training. Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a project manager

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where leadership and organizational skills are necessary. Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment.

OTHER SKILLS: Ability to operate a computer and use spreadsheet, database, word processing and Microsoft Projects.
