Degree Preferred of MS or a PhD related to infrastructure risk and reliability analysis, materials science, or construction management and project delivery – MBA in general and/or operations management.

Certification(s) Preferred :

Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record in some or all of the following:
• Experience in working with both business and IT stakeholders to define strategy and technology enabled solutions;
• Diverse experience across the various architectural domains (business, application, data and technology);
• Creates architecture standards and principles to help guide solutions and their governance;
• Experience in integration between OMS, DMS, and EMS with knowledge in the OT side of Grid Modernization;
• IT to OT conversion along with a working knowledge of OT security compliance requirements;
• Identifies and applies suitable architectural models to assess current and future architectural states;
• Understands the full solution delivery lifecycle and can scope the appropriate architectural artifacts to support various views;
• Experience with Enterprise Architectural frameworks (such as TOGAF);
• Architecting and over-seeing N-tier solutions;
• Contributing to and leading application design;
• End-to-end involvement in software delivery;
• Demonstrating OO development in a commercial environment;
• Technical ownership of one or more products;
• A range of software delivery tools (source control, agile tools, CI, IDE etc);
• Demonstrating initiative and implementing and following best practices;
• Effective prioritisation of tasks and personal time management;
• Working with team around producing estimates;
• Coaching and mentoring more junior team members both technically and professionally; and,
• Interacting with clients, product owners and senior executives.

Desirable Skills & experience:
• Functional understanding of the asset lifecycle through experience in asset heavy capital projects and/or asset intensive industries and an understanding of the current issues and challenges across the industry;
• Degree in computer science related discipline;
• Delivering in a highly collaborative agile environment;
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as blockchain and IoT;
• Behavioural Driven Development and Exploratory Testing;
• Cloud environment experience; and,
• Microservices architecture practical knowledge.
