Senior Construction Project Manager Buffalo, NY
WHO OUR CLIENT IS:
Search Solution Group is looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to help oversee daily operations for this high-profile client. This privately held real estate company is one of the nations largest and has diverse properties including retail, industrial, residential, office and more. They have their own teams that manage, lease, and construct properties.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Senior Construction Project Manager has the following roles and responsibilities:
• Selected candidate will be directly responsible for organizing, supervising, scheduling & planning of multiple commercial projects to maximize cost efficiency and motivate employees to complete each project assigned on time and under budget
• Provide technical expertise on site cost estimates, negotiate contracts, and change orders, and establish project objectives
• Oversee cost control to include monitoring the preparation of contract documents, budgets, scheduling, contracting, and processing of invoices
• Manage and monitors work of subcontractors; provides follow up to ensure completion of work and accurate, timely deliveries
• Issue design criteria based upon tenant requirements, including copies of general conditions, supplementary general conditions, project requirements, etc
• Understand scope of work included in the original pro forma budget and advise management of revisions that may be necessary
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
Education:
• Bachelors Degree is preferred
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial project management experience
Additional Skills:
• Normal dexterity required in construction and office environment including hand-eye coordination, walking, sitting, standing, alertness (attention to detail), computer input, and answering of phones
• May require lifting of materials or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Much sitting and driving to get to locations, and walking to perform an inspection of locations
• Must have active driver’s license
