Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Bridgeline Digital, you’ll work as part of the R&D team conducting manual and automated testing on our software. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and experience in manual and automated testing for a software company.
Responsibilities:
• Create test plans, test cases, and automation (E2E, UI, API) for new features and enhancements to existing features for all Bridgeline’s products
• Work closely with Product Owners and Development team to understand requirements and technical specifications
• Document issues and enhancement requests with clear detail for duplication
• Continue to build out a framework and write automated test scripts in Ruby using Selenium-Webdriver and Cucumber
• Processes – Contribute to process improvement, look for ways of working smarter
• Team contribution – An ability to successfully plan and track your progress as part of a high performing Agile team.
• Communicate effectively with development team members and managers
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a technical field such as computer science
• 2+ years experience working in a QA role, including automation
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, etc.
• Experience devising testing strategies and documenting test plans
• Experience using version control software (e.g. Git, GitHub, BitBucket)
• Experience using issue tracking software such as JIRA
• Experience with Linux/MacOS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences
• Experience with test management software such as TestRail is a plus
• Development experience is a plus
• Search, E-commerce, content management, and/or marketing automation experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
