Production Engineer (Python) – EMR CPR LLC

Quick Overview of the Role
• The role of the Developer is to develop Python based build system (Jenkins model)
• When the build fails the Developer should be able to resolve why the build fails
• The image from the build servers will be deployed on test devices and in case of any failure, debug the failure and resolve the issue
• Engineer will have core Python development skills plus embedded skills and CI / CD knowledge, experience developing build environment & testing skills.

We are not looking for pure DevOps Engineer, we are looking for an individual with embedded software development experience having worked within DevOps environment.

The Developer will be responsible for maintaining production-ready systems and services that support test and release of a hardware product foundational to the Metaverse.
The team is comprised of 10+ Engineers who have built tools and processes over many years which are in various states of automation. This role will focus on ensuring a reasonable level of automation and will take on first-level escalation for any issues or errors that arise during normal operations.

Required Skills:
1. Python development experience working in collaborative software engineering (larger projects than scrips/automation)
2. Experience working in Jenkins build environment
3. Git SCM experience and code reviewing
4. JavaScript, Bash scripting

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $48.00 – $55.00 per hour
