Donovan Hatem LLP is seeking an experienced and energetic attorney to join our Litigation practice in our New York office. With appropriate supervision, the attorney will directly handle all aspects of the defense of design professional malpractice, construction and other commercial litigation. The matters are challenging, complex and of substantial exposure. The attorney will work collaboratively with colleagues, experts, clients and claims personnel. Candidates should have 3-5 years’ litigation experience, preferably within the construction industry and, in particular, design and construction professionals, must be admitted in New York (New Jersey adminssion is also preferred), and have experience with depositions and with briefing and arguing substantive motions.
