Job Description

· Purpose: The Information Technology Project Manager for ICM Controls will plan, organize, and lead implementations of ICM Controls technical projects. Their main duties include coordinating production releases and rollouts, delegating tasks to the necessary employees and presentation of projects’ progress and results.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· IT Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in ICM Controls IT department, which includes managing IT Projects to ensure projects are completed successfully on time and within their specified budgets. IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include:
• Setting project goals and producing plans to meet those goals.
• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
• Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
• Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
• Delivering projects on schedule and within budget
• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
• Conducting risk assessments for projects
• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.

Skills & Qualifications:

· The IT Project Manager will have a strong set of skills to do their job effectively, including:
• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration preferred.
• Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion.
• Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills

· Education and Training requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field or associate degree plus 5 years’ experience

· Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred

Communication: Strong written, aural, verbal; and reading comprehension especially of technical materials, with ability to recognize relevance of and properly apply information; strong written skills to define, document procedures and processes and create reports; for correspondence with internal and external parties; interfaces with employees and customers while providing a positive experience.

Essential Physical/Mental/Sensory Demands:

¨ Manual/digital dexterity (moderate demand) Occasion-to lift, stack and set materials, employ basic hand tools, and operate machinery – grip, hold, lift, physically manipulate; to operate computers and computer programs, write and complete documents.

¨ Lifting, standing, walking, bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping/crouching, reaching, squatting (low demand) – some opportunities for alternate sit/stand though majority of work is performed from standing position; lift or move up to fifty pounds.
