Job Duties And Responsibilities
Nimbio is seeking experienced, well organized and reliable individuals in New York City to perform system installation and service of Access Control systems. Individuals should be mechanically inclined, organized, have good communications & troubleshooting skills with experience in field installation and repair. Most importantly they should have a “First time right” quality mindset with great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Perform service/installation of access control system that ties into other various security related systems.
• Perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality
• Provide ability to install, service, troubleshoot and perform Quality Control checks on previously installed access control systems.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-4 year degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience installing, servicing and maintaining access control and/or closed circuit television system preferred.
• Industry certifications for Access Control systems and/or CCTV a plus.
• Knowledge of commonly installed intercom and access systems for the NYC market a plus.
• Experience working as a security service/ installation technician preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical experience in low voltage systems.
• Detail oriented.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license
