A WESTERN NY SEALING & PAVING INC. paving supervisor supports the company’s goals by coordinating, generating sales and overseeing processes and managing projects.
Overview:
The paving supervisor will be committed to driving sales by working closely with other managers to ensure all the functions of the business are operating at the highest level according to the established company policy and procedure. This individual will organize and coordinate paving projects from concept to actualization.
Skills/ Knowledge:
Must Have: Leadership, Oral and Written Communications, Analytical, Problem Solving, Logistical coordination, Decision Making, Planning and Organizing, Flexibility, Customer Relations experience, Creativity, Initiative, Trust and Integrity, Time Management, Basic Computer Knowledge, Understanding of construction processes.
Desired: Sales experience, Salesforce, Microsoft excel, IOS, Pages, Numbers
Paving supervisor’s job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Project Management: 60%
Set up paving jobs
Map Jobs, Decide who’s paving, schedule, communicate with customer.
Quality Control
Presence on the job-when possible at the start.
Go over work-order with contractor.
Coordinate Patching
Try to combine w/ paving jobs and or put multiple jobs together.
Collect Checks
Administrative: 20%
Make and distribute contractor work orders.
Ensure all proper documentation is filled out.
Update payment info and P&L statements for jobs.
Sales: 15%
Give paving estimates as requested.
Leave information with the neighbors of existing customers.
