Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Founded on a reputation of professionalism and quality, with the financial backing of AECOM, we are one of New York City’s premier builders.
As a separately branded entity of the AECOM Construction Management group, LBG operates independently with its own management structures and resources.
Job Description
Leeding Builders Group/AECOM is seeking Construction Project Managers with experience in vertical/high rise construction for our iconic and exciting construction projects in New York City.
Job Description:
• Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
• Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
• Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS and 6 years of relevant high rise construction Project Management experience or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant construction experience or HS/GED and 10 years of relevant construction experience; or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with a larger General Contractor (GC) in the vertical construction market.
• Extensive experience as a Construction Project Manager for a larger GC.
• Project experience to include high rise commercial, residential and/or hospitality.
• Experience overseeing construction projects with multiple sub-contracted trades.
• Experience with construction management documentation.
• Ability to interact with clients as well as construction management.
• Experience with construction documentation, construction management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with CMiC.
• Offered rate of compensation (New York City only) will be based on individual education, qualification, experience and work location. The salary range for the position is $116,087.33 – $214,761.56 annually (exempt).
