The LiRo Group is currently seeking a Construction Manager to serve projects in the Rochester area. This individual will be responsible for the on-site construction management and quality control inspection of infrastructure rehabilitation projects in western New York State.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a qualified Construction Manager that will be able to work in a fast-paced environment managing infrastructure and facility projects for state and municipal clients. The position involves working with a team of hands-on talented engineers, environmental professionals and construction managers involved in a wide range of projects. Construction experience is desired in the following service areas:
• Oversee work is completed in accordance with contract documents.
• Provide ongoing involvement with the CM team, Client, design consultants and construction contractor teams.
• Handle all on-site reviews, meetings, submittals, and requests for information by contractors.
• Review and verify progress payments as well as reviewing contractor payments compared to work being done.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and documentation as required by the project.
• Oversee all procedures, coordination, progress problems, schedules and changes management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of successful construction management experience in building construction.
• AIA, PE, PMP, and/or CCM Certification a plus.
• Ability to interface with client/owner to understand their needs and project scopes as well as coordinating end-user satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and multi-task.
