Salary: $90,000
The Construction Manager will be managing construction projects for the NY Foundling across all divisions and will reports to Director of Capital Projects. The Construction Manager will:
• Attend all Pre-Construction and site walk-thrus to provide oversight and support.
• Provide ongoing updates of project status to identify progress, issues or concerns
• Attend site meetings at current construction
• Review all project spec submittals for approval
• Attend any program meetings for progress updates
• Process invoices and submit to finance
• Able to read construction blueprints.
• Take and generate field and meeting minutes
• Build construction schedule; identify and track potential scheduling delays
• Responsible for tracking and managing invoices to reconcile with project budgets.
• Oversite of multiple sites at different stages of progress
Understand DOBNOW filings and tracking permits
*Please specify area of study: HS required; minimum 4 years in the Construction Field either as a Manager of Construction or Project Oversite.
Other Requirements:
Expertise in the development of project schedules, ability to review specs and proposals, build EXCEL spreadsheets, Ability to generate comprehensive progress reports detailing project status.
Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm
