North Forest Office Space builds, manages and leases office space in Western New York (Buffalo & Rochester) , Texas (Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth), and Colorado. It is our mission to make the leasing experience simple for our customers. The Buffalo market is looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill our Construction Coordinator position. Having experience in commercial office and/or multi-family residential environments is desired.
Expect to both perform and manage small remodeling/construction projects in our commercial office properties. 3-5 years experience performing the different aspects of general construction (framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting etc…) is required. A strong candidate will be able to create cost estimates, schedule and manage subcontractors, order materials and ensure jobs are completed on time with high quality. Basic knowledge of local code requirements is a plus.
Will interact daily with our customers, the North Forest Team, and subcontractors so having a natural ability to positively influence while being timely, and responsive is a must. High School Diploma or GED required with 3-5 years construction experience as a laborer or apprentice; further technical education a definite plus or a combination of education and experience will be considered. Must be able to commute between locations with reliable and accessible means of transportation and a valid driver’s license. Be available to work occasional overtime and weekends when necessary.
