Bio-Med Technician

A Bio Med Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, electrical safety testing, calibration, and repair of various electronic/electromechanical medical equipment. Provide call-in emergency services with minimum assistance and supervision.

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of electrical safety as it applies to the modern healthcare environment.

• Able to interpret electronic schematic drawings and have a basic knowledge of the principles/theories of electricity/electronics.

• Familiar with the use and safe operation of electronic/electromechanical medical test equipment.

• 3-5 years hospital experience in medical electronics or similar discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 2 yrs. Associates Degree in Science (Electronics) or Bio-Medical Tech Degree
