job summary:

Project Delivery Manager. The manager acts in a

player / coach role, by performing hands on work such as facilitating ideation, project delivery, resource forecasting,

troubleshooting issues and consulting, as well as working with other team members on such activities as improving work

processes, documentation, testing, gate review preparation and change implementation. The position requires proficiency

in Portfolio, Program, Project and Business Analysis delivery; as well as supervisory / team development experience.

Manages people, processes and tasks related to on-going support of project management and business analysis

functions that drive planning, delivery, and execution across departmental and enterprise projects and programs.

Manager participates in the integration of the project and portfolio management culture across the University organization

and works to operationalize the mechanics of a maturing project and portfolio management function by collaborating with

the Director of Project & Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) to improve delivery, consistency and transparency across

various initiatives. Manager works to ensure appropriate service and customer satisfaction levels as defined by the

organization. Contributes to the definition, analysis, planning, measuring and improvement of all aspects of resource

availability and capacity, matching with project demand. The Manager also provides consulting services and oversees and

administers service level agreements associated with the area of expertise; provides leadership and a disciplined focus on

best practices.
