What You Will Be Doing
• THIS ROLE IS IN ROCHESTER, NY (ONSITE)****
• Representative to all project stakeholders
• Monitor project plan progress, celebrate successes, and take corrective actions to keep plans on course; develop and manage changes to schedule as needed
• Plan, coordinate and direct efficient use of labor, equipment, materials, and contractors/material suppliers to effectively manage quality, cost, productivity, and safety
• Review and coordinate construction drawings and specifications with stakeholder teams
• Evaluate contractors’ effectiveness and performance; ensure they understand expectations and tasks and hold them accountable to project design
• Allocate adequate resources to team members, and educate them on new policies or procedures that impact their daily activities
• Help ensure work sites adhere to all policies and procedures regarding safety compliance, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Health, Safety, and Environmental Plans
• Identify project-related risks to all stakeholders; ensure execution plans mitigate and manage risks
• Compose, review, and analyze cost impacts; Review all incoming paperwork for accuracy; completion, legibility and consistency; Generate and maintain daily reports
• Perform work at Project Managers direction and communicate timely feedback
Qualifications (REQUIRED)
• 3 or more years of experience managing others in commercial construction
• Exceptional understanding of all building trades disciplines
• Ability to generate construction documents, including contracts, change orders, and submittals
• Computer skills and experience with PM Web Project Management Software
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in related field
