Job Title : Systems Engineer II Senior

Job Description

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for project engineering for RF technologies, Electro-mechanical systems, and sensors. The candidate will be required to meet with project stake holders on a regular basis to understand technical issues and develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design, and understand the underlying system implications. Contribute to the system engineering specification within the field of one’s expertise.
• Assist in creating the system engineering specification and write the portion of the system engineering specification pertaining to field of technical expertise.
• Perform and coordinate tests, and provide feedback to product engineering, physics, algorithms and software on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements.
• Problem identification and troubleshooting of moderately difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
• Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
• Ensure that all new designs of hardware and software meets the MRS, and are reliable, safe, user friendly and maintainable by the field.
• Assist in defining all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas and insure they are up to date and documented.
• Learn and begin contributing to the systems architecture development process.
• Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems
• Implement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty
• Assist in development of electrical product specifications
• Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on issues to the stakeholders.

Functional Knowledge
• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Physics / Instrumentation is desirable.
• Experience in leading system architecture development, preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics and proficiency in embedded hardware development.
• Knowledge in embedded software architecture and development.
• Knowledge and experience of Electromagnetic Magnetic principles preferred.
• Prior experience of working in global teams and interfacing with multiple stake holders.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact with extended teams spread across the globe.
• Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.

U.S. Salary Range:

$112,000.00 – $154,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
