Mechanical Engineer – Rochester, $90K – $130K (Depends on Experience)

I am currently partnering with a specialist MEP firm based in Rochester, New York. They provide innovative engineering services for clients worldwide across a variety of service lines including new builds, renovations, insurance claims, commissioning, energy, and sustainability.

This company is in need of a Mechanical Engineer!

The company applies their expertise and experience to all roles and aspects of project delivery and design. Designs quite like, school buildings(k-12), healthcare, assisted living, commercial also including industrial, and churches.

They build on change and inspiring others and helping people develop as a culture and truly hone on supporting and giving their workers the experience, they absolutely desire. With that, this role is a steppingstone towards something much greater. This company is looking for someone that can hold their own as far as becoming a team leader/Direct Mentor. The motive here is to BUILD…BUILD…BUILD as a company and as a team to stay at the top of their game.

What are we looking for?

· Capable of multitasking – working on multiple projects

· HVAC Mechanical Design experience

· Have great communication skills

· Be able to talk with clients, other design professionals, contractors, vendors, and other peers

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

– Excellent Communication

– Planning and Organizational skills

– Valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License Preferred or being pursued

– Multitask and meet critical deadlines

– Must have valid driver’s license

– Some Design Experience

What will be your duties?

· Design and analysis of sustainable building systems, heating, cooling, ventilation within healthcare facilities K-12/ higher education and other buildings.

· Writing of projects, drawings and specifications.

· Coordinating work with clients and other consultants as well as in-house staff from other disciplines.

· Engaging with contractors for pre-construction and construction support activity.

· Documentation of systems design in software such as Autodesk,microstation., REVIT/AutoCAD.

· Engineering analysis work, including load calculations and equipment sizing.

· Trains, develops and mentors team members.
