Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates, developing engineering processes and communicating effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to quote cost associated with manufacturing a product to customer requirements.
• Layout manufacturing process suitable to our facility and our customer demands.
• Continuously improve methods of manufacturing for increased productivity and efficiency while reducing costs.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, meet deadlines and work as a member of a cohesive team.
• Function as the liaison between the customer.
• Troubleshoot problem areas.
• Ability to increase productivity and efficiency with decreased costs on projects.
• Acceptable capture ratio for quotes performed.
• Ability to perform routine job costing procedures.
• Ability to take necessary measures to correct non-conformity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Must be PC literate in a windows environment.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent Blueprint reading skills
• Familiarity with all aspects of manufacturing including sheet metal fabrication, assembly, machining, and welding. Must have knowledge of materials, AWS weld specifications and outside service processes.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
