Job Summary
AECOM is seeking Construction Inspectors to support its Construction Management Teams working on Highway Bridge projects in New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight of the field operations during the project construction phase including; preparation of inspectors’ daily reports, ensuring site safety monitoring, technical oversight, quality of construction, and Client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the inspection and construction management tasks assigned by the Project Manager and Resident Engineer.
• Ability to balance work in the project office with responsibilities in the field.
• Interface with contractors to ensure coordination of construction activities.
• Ability to evaluate and provide feedback to PM and RE regarding constructability issues encountered at construction sites.

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ten (10) years of experience in construction inspection.
• Knowledge and experience in performing inspection for highway bridge-related projects in NJ for NJTA, NJDOT, or local municipality.
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards, operations requirements, and force account support services.
