We are engaged inlocal community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is looking for a Resident Engineer to overseea bridge repair project located in Brookhaven, NY. This is a Full-Time Long-Term position reporting to the EIC. Responsibilities:
• Monitor contractor’s work.
• Lead and conduct progress meetings
• Manage direct reports including Inspectors and Office Engineer
• Ensure the construction is as per plan and specifications
• Manage daily logs, submittals, change orders, estimates, invoices
• Ensure safety of the construction project
Qualification & Skills:
• Either Bachelors in Engineering or NICET IV Certification required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Resident Engineer or Chief Inspector on NYSDOT projects
