Wissen Technology is now hiring for Senior Data Engineer – New York with relevant experience.

Exp: 8 – 10 years
Location: NYC, New York: Hybrid-3 Days/week Onsite from Day 1.
This role will be responsible for working closely with the technical leads and product owners to develop & support data engineering and analytics functionalities in the Wealth Management subdomain at a top tier Investment Bank.
The right candidate will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target state processes across the design, build, test, deploy & support phases.
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
8 -10 years of programming experience
Significant development experience in data engineering and database programming is a must
Strong experience in python and spark development for large data-set based batch processing in datalake/Hadoop and relational databases.
Good development experience in data model design, database optimization techniques using indexes, partitioning, stats refresh management, memory/CPU utilization analysis.
Good integration experience in scripting languages and scheduling mechanism such as Autosys
Good development experience in end to end CI/CD pipeline tools
Good experience in unix/shell programming
Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
Cloud based development and deployment.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
Experience working with agile methodologies
