Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs:
• Understanding architectural design and data platform delivery in technologies that include, but are not limited to cloud, ETL, data storage, data modeling, APIs/microservices, automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment;
• Showcasing work experience as a Data Architect, Data Analyst or similar role;
• Providing data architecture guidance around complex efforts within established Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies including agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall, and also using blended resources;
• Showcasing technical understanding that spans multiple platforms and portfolio of applications with demonstrated knowledge of the business strategic priorities in order to resolve complex problems;
• Understanding Master Data Management design principles;
• Utilizing IT business processes and frameworks including, but not limited to, Identity Access Management (IdAM), Enterprise Application Integration, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Mobility, Master Data Management, and Search;
• Understanding of database structure principles;
• Assessing and analyzing system requirements;
• Understanding Data Integration Tools (SSIS, Informatica, API Management, Enterprise Service Bus (preferably Kafka), and Rules Engine (preferably BizTalk);
• Implementing Query analysis and performance optimization;
• Demonstrating data mining and segmentation techniques;
• Exhibiting knowledge in both SQL and Big Data technologies;
• Working at the Enterprise level developing business data solutions;
• Understanding Data Federation/Virtualization technologies, such as PowerBI, Tableau, D3.js, and implementing Cloud based solutions;
• Showcasing analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude;
• Demonstrating virtual leadership and motivational skills;
• Engaging with business stakeholders across PwC territories to understand territory data strategies, approaches and requirements;
• Recommending and participating in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Architecture;
• Developing strategies and design patterns to solve complex technical and data challenges;
• Leading data architecture review sessions and providing recommendation to the team on architecture work;
• Establishing guidelines around application data architecture design;
• Training, coaching, and supervising staff and increasing staff knowledge/skills to support future growth, to include technical acumen;
• Developing internal relationships and PwC brand;
• Leveraging business acumen to interpret and translate goals into technical specifications, while delivering thought-leadership of specific technologies, and driving technology change; and,
• Leveraging business knowledge and interpersonal skills to build, maintain, and influence relationships with senior leaders throughout the business and IT.
