The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning’s businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The IT Sr. Analyst will collaborate with teams across the manufacturing and business operations to translate business needs to technical requirements. Acts as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business and manufacturing IT capabilities and helps to ensure successful delivery of IT capabilities and services

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Troubleshoot and maintain the plant ERP and MES systems
• Interact with and educate plant customers in the development and implementation of required programs and processes
• Align IT business processes to global Corning business processes
• Assist site leader with local business/plant engagement for the IT organization
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget through project prioritization and effective resource management
• Establish and maintain the appropriate levels of operational support to meet established metrics.
• Effectively support the IT shared service delivery model.
• Collaborate closely with the Site Leader and Division IT to understand and implement programs that drive standardization across the division while ensuring plant business needs are met.
• Interact with customer base to ensure the type and level of services provided fully support achievement of plant business objectives.
• Establish and maintain a presence on the plant floor to maintain an ongoing understanding of the pulse of the organization.
• Establish and drive plant IT project portfolio and manage its alignment to organizational objectives.
• Work with plant staff to make team-based decisions that support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the plant.
• SQL Database administrator for local databases.
• Develop various reporting in SQL and deploy SSRS reports.
• Maintain compliance for ITAR/NIST work at the facility.
• Administration of various manufacturing applications including OSI-PI.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelors degree in related field
• 7-10 years of IT/related experience
• 5+ years demonstrated leadership abilities
• Prior ERP experience.

• Experience with Manufacturing process
• Experience supporting ERP in a manufacturing environment
• Readiness to take on responsibility, trustworthiness, flexibility
• Ability work in teams and individually
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate at all levels within IT and various business units
• Technical/Site Specific Skills
• Degree in computer science
• Knowledge of developing SSRS reports
• SQL DBA with understanding of querying in Microsoft SQL
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated through project management, supervisor experience, or team leadership.
• Strategic thinking. The ability to create, organize and execute a strategic plan in alignment with higher IT and plant business objectives.
• Ability and willingness to grow into a role with increased responsibility

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Understanding of ITAR/NIST regulations and familiarity with CMMC
• Technical background in an Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Computer Engineering.
• Ability/experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Lean and/or Performance Excellence manufacturing techniques
• PowerBI
• Project management experience
• Experience in a staffs and shared services organization
• Strong desire to have experience in an engineering organization and/or manufacturing environment

TRAVEL:
• 5% travel for semiannual regional meetings
