New York Tech is seeking a Senior Systems Specialist for the Office of Enrollment Management. The position, reporting to the Director of Systems Integration is a key member of the enrollment systems, operations, and data team. They work closely with the enrollment operations and admissions staff to provide technical leadership, training, and support for CRM(Slate) and SIS (PeopleSoft) systems.

This is a hybrid position that offers a flexible schedule of remote and on-campus work at either of our New York campus locations.

Responsibilities:

Participate in defining, scoping, and building departmental and cross-departmental business processes to fully utilize the CRM functionality. Works with and supports other departments on campus to ensure that their systems and data needs are met.

Provide support for end users, troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions. Work collaboratively with the enrollment management team as well as across college areas to support enrollment initiatives.

Assist with enrollment systems updates, maintenance, and testing, including quality control reporting and data integrity analysis.

Assist in building the functionality and expanding the capabilities of the CRM (Slate).

Collaborate with business units and IT to resolve system and/or data issues. Develop system documentation related to upgrades, enhancements, changes, projects, and assist with the creation and delivery of end user documentation and training as newly implemented features and processes are deployed.

Responsible for managing daily systems operations (duplicate resolution, outside source and test loads, letter generation and others as assigned).

Responsible for training admissions department, faculty admissions reviewers, and other campus departments who create student records.

Take part in enrollment services events as needed. Occasional night/weekend work required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree required.

Must be adaptable and flexible, and able to prioritize and respond effectively to multiple demands.

Must be skilled in problem solving and analytical and creative thinking.

Proven attention to detail and able to work independently.

Must have demonstrated interest in learning new skills as new challenges arise.

Excellent organization and prioritization, project management, customer service, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups at all organizational levels, both inside and outside of the university.

Strong commitment to teamwork and student-centered customer service.

Preference is given to candidates who have experience in Higher Education and working with Slate. The strongest candidates will have technical and functional knowledge of Slate, including administration and configuration experience. They should have knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases, data security, data governance, and system maintenance.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

Minimum Salary: USD $65,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $75,000.00/Yr.
