Our client, a Leading Global Hedge Fund, is looking to hire Senior Java Developers to work closely alongside portfolio finance, securities lending and middle office operations teams. Your core focus would be to help design and develop middle office systems.
You will be joining one of the world’s top hedge funds, collaborating with an exceptionally talented team, and earning market-leading compensation.
This position is open to their New York and London offices.
Responsibilities:
• Create and evolve multi-asset class (equities, credit, rates, derivatives) middle office systems.
• Program and progress systems to assist quantitative trading.
Desirable Candidates:
• 5+ years of relevant Java programming work experience
• Broad knowledge & experience in designing and building middle office systems
• Extensive experience with cloud based regional database systems (e.g Snowflake)
• Exposure to Agile, TDD, BDD software development methodologies
• Familiarity with CI / CD methodologies (Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.) and container-based packaging & deployment
• Solid understanding of financial market structures across multiple assets types (preferably Equities and Fixed Income)
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
