Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer to play a key role in full-stack application development, developing customer-facing applications for our premium product platforms.
Role:
Sr. Software Developer contributes to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle through the analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance of software solutions. This role requires web development with Reactjs/Nodejs/Python. Sr. Software Developer also works in close collaboration with the Software Development Team to implement best practices across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

You will be part of a full project team that includes senior Software Developers, QA, Project Managers, and business leaders who are dedicated to multiple long-term products.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and deploy cloud native container based financial applications
• Developing new user experiences using React JS
• Design, develop REST based API Services using NodeJS/Python
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Optimize components to work seamlessly across different browsers and devices
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
• Previous Node JS/Python & React JS experience 5+ years required
• In-depth knowledge of Typescript, SCSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, React Hooks, Redux/MobX/Recoil or other state management frameworks
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgresSql and MSSQL
• Experience in working with scrum, keeping track of your sprint item in JIRA and completing everything on time.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Experience working with multicultural global technology teams in the financial industry
• Exceptionally self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
