We are seeking a full time Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician to work in our busy Retina practice. This position requires a good understanding of ophthalmic practices and patient care. Knowledge of medical instrumentation and its proper care and use. Ability to assess common safety hazards and take precautions to establish a safe work environment. Ability to communicate with patients, coworkers, and supervisors with compassion is essential. Medent experience preferred.
List of Qualifications
• Previous experience in fluorescein angiography and ICG
• Perform technical work ups, patient work ups and special testing.
• Maintain and clean all equipment
• Experience working on clinical trials
• Strong technological aptitude and attention to detail.
• Promptly and professionally assist the doctor during patient care.
• Comply with HIPAA
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to multitask
• Experience in a fast paced office environment.
• The ability to work with other staff members collaboratively in fulfilling our mission of preserving and restoring sight with compassion and innovation
Minimum Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
