Job Description

Qualifications for Network Data Center Engineer:
• 5 – 7 years of experience in Cisco or HPE/Aruba networking environment and related technologies.
• Experience with firewalls and other network security
• Excellent working knowledge of Storage Area Networks.
• Experience with VMware Virtualization Technologies.
• Excellent technical knowledge in technology methodologies, design, and implementation.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Pre-planning, forecasting, testing and validating design work.
• Experience in enterprise-level systems implementation in multi-site environments.
• Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
• Be able to assist in developing project scopes.

Additional experience/skills:
• Proficient/Expert – required
• Powershell proficient – required
• Azure/AWS Server configuration experience including sizing of memory, CPUs, storage and runtime schedules – desirable
• NAS/SAN configuration proficient – desirable
• Preferred storage array configuration experience such as LUNs, failovers, etc. – desirable
• Cybersecurity knowledge/best practices experience appreciated CIS, SANS, NIST CSF, etc. nice to have
