Job Description: The Lead Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for the coordination of the daily work flow and activity of the Neurophysiology Dept, including Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM), Electroencephalography (EEG) and Long Term Monitoring (LTM). Possesses expertise in use of all equipment in the department and makes recommendations to the Manager/Director on development/implementation/changes of procedures/protocols and policies. Addresses day to day concerns regarding assignments and notifies manager of any unresolved and recurring concerns. Performs all principal duties and responsibilities of IOM and EEG staff technologists as needed.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science Relevant to END program, inclusive of neuroscience courses with END program certificate required or Bachelors of Science inclusive of Neuroscience courses with END program certificate required. 6 years of experience in related neurodiagnostic field (must have at least two neurodiagnostic board certificates) required or 6 years of experience in Performing routine and complex EEG’s (AAS and BS candidates) required. 2 years of experience in Supervisory or lead/charge position preferred. ABRET upon hire required. Clarify above: Six years of work experience in related neurodiagnostic field is only required for those candidates who do not have an AAS or BS degree. Candidates must have at least two neurodiagnostic board certificates (e.g., ABRET, AAET, BRPT or ABEM); one of these certificates must be from ABRET (CNIM or CLTM).
