Job Description

Position: IT Infrastructure Manager

Department: Information Technology

Report to: Director, IT

Salary: up to $172,000/year base

POSITION OVERVIEW

· Our client, a top luxury watch manufacturer, seeks a Senior Information Technology professional to provide leadership to its infrastructure and Help Desk teams.

· The team consists of 10 – 15 IT professionals who focus on systems engineering (networking, infrastructure, etc.) and user support.

· The client has five facilities in the United States with 550+ users.

· The IT infrastructure team collaborates on global initiatives with the Company’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

· The ideal candidate for this role has excellent people management and project management skills.

· They are looking for someone who is focused on process and projects as well as people. This is a leadership position in the organization

· They are looking for someone who can manage complex projects, successfully execute changes for improvement and inspire a team of IT professionals.

· The ideal candidate will have 12 years’ experience working on systems engineering/infrastructure projects and at least five years of people management experience.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

· Ensures that IT provides a scalable, stable, standard platform where processes are consistent across the Company. Ensures the success of the Service Delivery function in the Company through clearly defined, and agreed upon SLA’s and KPI’s.

· Maintains ongoing evaluation and reporting of the team’s performance related to the defined KPI’s focusing on continual improvement.

· Driving optimal performance of Managed Service Partners and vendors ensuring that appropriate SLAs are established and achieved.

· Ensures that all RUSA Data Centers and ICT Services (Telephony, Network, Datacenter, Desktop) are properly dimensioned and managed with proactive capacity and incident management practices.

· Ensures excellence in the delivery of Desktop Services by driving a customer orientation in the support team and a focus on timely resolution.

· Ensures consistency in the configuration of the Desktop environment.

· Ensure that comprehensive backup and technology Business Continuity Plans are implemented and validated multiple times a year.

· Ensures that industry best practices, such as ITIL, are leveraged at the proper dimension to assure effective system delivery and stability.

· Ensures that IT systems remain compliant to defined security standards and industry best practices (Patching, Anti-Virus, SIEM).

· Ensures the successful application of Infrastructure security standards and policies set forth by the Head of IT and IT Security Manager.

· Ensures that Project Deliverables assigned to the team are delivered on time.

MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTS

· BA in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related field.

· 10+ years’ IT experience, at least 5 with people management.

· Minimum 8+ years experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery, preferably in a mid-sized organizations

· Experience in the Luxury Goods industry preferable.

· May have to travel approximately 10% of the time to client facilities

· Must be fully vaccinated by date of employment

· This position is located in their Long Island City office location working on a hybrid schedule.
