Overview:
This position is focused on the management and growth of the Access Engineering team within End User Computing. The leader is responsible for driving toward outcomes aligned with modernizing our Access Management function by implementing new technologies and processes. It offers the opportunity to envision, build and deliver meaningful change within the Access Management space at the bank.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, articulate, and deliver on a modernized vision of Access Management – leveraging familiarity with industry toolsets, practices, and technology trends
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management technologies, processes, and familiarity with agile development methodology
• Provide strong leadership to the technical team, help set priorities and build meaningful, measurable objectives
• Continually examine and understand Access Management technologies, practices, and processes within the bank, identifying areas of improvement or opportunity
• Oversee planning, development and testing of new features, processes, or tool implementations within the team
• Build rapport within the organization and key partners. Demonstrate a professional level of communication and cooperation in all interactions.
• Translate business requirements and needs to technical solutions, assisting teams in building value-driven technologies and processes
• Maintain and manage relationships with vendors and professional organizations, keep up with industry trends and vendor applications to drive strategic direction and set team objectives
• Responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and roadmap development for respective team
• Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
• Interpret competing business requests and issues, working with team and product owners to deliver appropriately prioritized work
• Responsible for building a positive and value-driven relationship with aligned business teams and technology partners.
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years’ technology or systems management/leadership experience, or in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience
Exposure and experience to Identity and Access Management discipline and aligned technology stack
Experience with automation or process improvement from a Technology perspective
Capable of working on and providing leadership for multiple projects of a complex nature
Proficiency with project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications
Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution
Familiar with infrastructure, network and hardware platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10 years’ technology management or large program leadership experience
Extensive application and product knowledge experience with skills, application(s) and functions of Identity and Access Management technology discipline
Experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ
Experience with ServiceNow platform
Exposure and Experience to building and staffing a brand-new team and capability
Subject Matter Expert understanding of Identity and Access Management applications supported with an advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications
Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities
Experience with skills, application(s) and functions of Identity and Access Management
Self-motivated and able to motivate others
