Position Title: Deputy Head of IT Infrastructure

Department: Information Technology

Primary Function: The Deputy Head of Infrastructurewill participate in designing new technology solutions, documenting solutions and providing technology stewardship. The deputy is part of a infrastructure Team responsible for the building, administration, and support of the company’s multi-site technology infrastructure. This individual will work with various Stakeholders and Team Members ensuring the operational and strategic goals of the Group are obtained, and report directly to the Infrastructure Manager/Architect.

The deputy head will be responsible for XYZ and will assist in leading a team of XYZ people.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time onsite role reporting to a Midtown Manhattan office during standard business hours. Off shifting maybe required as needed based upon project initiatives. This is a contract postion with right to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Be a self-starter to follow up work independently
• Create and maintain technology documentation
• Provide oversight and drive technical projects such as, but not limited to: executing large scale infrastructure upgrades and end of life solutions
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Provide guidance to 3rd party technical deployments ( ex: physical security and av vendors)
• Design thoughtful effective technology solutions
• Produce technology standards and policies
• Provide guidance to other Team Members and Stakeholders
• Ensure best practice methodologies are utilized delivering robust solutions regarding the infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Update and develop new strategic solutions to ensure the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans are effective
• Assist with ensuring the latest technology is in place to mitigate any cyber-attacks/threats
• Committed to developing themselves and the other Team Members
• Documentation
• Draft and update technical documentation as it relates to general maintenance standards, rollout process, support documentation, post implementation operational support, etc

Technologies to Support :

· Microsoft Server Operating Systems 2012/2016

· MS AD / Azure AD administration, maintenance and troubleshooting

· Microsoft O365 and SMTP appliances
• VMware vSphere (ESXi)
• Citrix administration and support
• Data reporting platform support (Ex: Tableau, SQL, IIS)
• Systems engineering security best practices
• Addition support stack including LanDesk, SolarWinds, Linux, Veeam/Backups, Storage

Presented as a leadership role with the expectation that they are your right hand (in different words) but must have the technical skills to be able to drive that need to be able to have a wholistic view of our technology stack, provide recommendations around infrastructure, assist in the day-to-day KTLO of environment, and drive / oversee technical projects

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $145.00 – $165.00 per hour
